This Refund Policy explains how refund requests for purchases of Domain Eight paid plans are handled by Domain Eight. Payments are processed by Paddle, which, where applicable, acts as Merchant of Record and handles refund processing on our behalf.
You may submit a refund request within 30 days of the date of purchase. Refund requests submitted outside this 30-day window are generally not eligible for a discretionary refund, though applicable consumer and statutory rights are not affected (see below).
Submitting a refund request does not, by itself, guarantee that a refund will be approved. Each request is reviewed on its own facts in accordance with this policy, applicable consumer law, and Paddle's payment and refund processes.
When reviewing a discretionary refund request we consider the circumstances of the request, the reason given, and any indication of misuse (for example, apparent abuse, scraping, credential sharing, or other conduct described in our Terms & Conditions).
Where legally permitted, the nature and extent of your use of the paid Domain Eight features may also be considered as one factor. Examples of use that may be relevant include:
Usage is treated as one factor in a discretionary review, not as an automatic reason to deny a request. We do not apply a fixed numeric cut-off (such as a set number of questions, sessions, or days of use) to automatically deny refunds.
To submit a refund request, please:
Where a refund is approved, it is processed by Paddle back to the original payment method. The time it takes for the refunded amount to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer.
You can cancel a subscription at any time via paddle.net or by contacting support@domaineight.app. Cancellation stops future renewals; paid access continues until the end of the current billing period. The Pro 6 Months plan is a one-time purchase and does not automatically renew.
Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law where it applies. Depending on where you live, you may also have additional statutory rights (for example, withdrawal or cancellation rights) that apply in addition to this policy. This 30-day refund request process does not replace or reduce any such rights.
See Paddle's refund policy at paddle.com/legal/refund-policy for details on how refunds are processed on Paddle's side.
